Our Volunteers
Here at Group Homes for Children, our volunteers are cherished beyond words. Our volunteers come from across the community to lend a hand, helping our children in crisis overcome obstacles and truly enjoy their childhood. Every single volunteer at Group Homes for Children has chosen to dedicate their time in order to make a difference in the lives of our community’s children – and for that we are immensely grateful.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers act as a mentor, a friend, and a vessel of unwavering support for our children. Volunteers invest their time in forming relationships with children in crisis, helping them enjoy the childhood that may otherwise be lost. Whether our volunteers serve as a Town Pal or join our Board of Directors, we are thankful for every one of them!
THANK YOU!
We would like to thank our current volunteers for all the wonderful work they do for the children in our community. We could not do what we do without you, and your time and effort is invaluable to us. From the bottom of our hearts – WE THANK YOU!

Town Pal
Becoming a Town Pal means investing in a positive relationship/mentorship with a child. Town Pals will have the opportunity to help them develop high self-esteem through this friendship. Town Pals will make plans to visit the community and participate in fun activities, or simply visit and talk with the child.
Board of Directors Member
We are proud to have a phenomenal group of individuals currently serving on our Board of Directors. Board members serve about one hour per month at a board meeting and participate in annual fundraisers. Board members also serve on one committee. Being a board member gives individuals an opportunity to make impactful decisions that positively affect our community’s youth
All volunteers must be 21 years old. Please contact our office at (765) 447-7410 to learn more about how you can change a child’s life through these volunteer opportunities.
